Elgon Villa Hotel — Management System

Built as a working proposal for Elgon Villa Hotel in Misikhu, Bungoma, on simulated hotel data, this system replaces paper booking books and guesswork with one shared record for reception, managers and the owner. The rooms board shows at a glance what is free, occupied or being cleaned; bookings are checked against a 14-day calendar so they cannot clash; and checking a guest out produces the bill, with M-Pesa, cash and card payments and receipts recorded against it.

Behind the front desk it tracks stock with days-left warnings, expenses, staff and monthly wages with payslips, and turns it all into reports exportable to PDF and Excel. Tania, the built-in AI assistant, answers questions by text or voice ("who arrives today?", "what is running low?") and prepares actions that staff confirm, with undo. Built with Flutter for web and Android on a PHP and MySQL API, it works offline, keeps a log of every change, and switches between English and Kiswahili.
